The objectives of the project are to generate employment and provide laptops to young and gifted students enrolled in public institutions of higher education in Pakistan on merit alone.
What is the Youth Laptop Program?
Prime Minister's Laptop Scheme 2024 is now live. Under this program, 50,000 eligible students of public universities in Pakistan will be provided with laptops. When the program was first introduced in 2017, more than 50,000 students received laptops. The PM Laptop program aims to provide students with free laptops to advance their education and the development of the country. Since the Prime Minister's Laptop Scheme was introduced only for youth in Punjab, it has been determined that all provinces of Pakistan will receive an equal share of its funding.

Registration process for laptop scheme
- To register for the Prime Minister's Laptop Scheme 2024, the eligible candidates should visit the HEC website directly and complete the online registration process.
