OPPO Reno12 and Reno12 Pro with 6.7″ 1.5K 120Hz Curved AMOLED Display, Dimensity 8250 / 9200+ Star Edition, Up to 16GB RAM Announced

OPPO has just announced the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro smartphones at an event in China, as promised. Both phones have a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120Hz curved OLED display.

OPPO is the first to use the MediaTek Dimensity 8250 SoC, also known as Dimensity 8200 Star Speed ​​​​​​​​​Edition, in the OPPO Reno12. This Octa-Core SoC uses TSMC's 4nm process and features 1 Arm Cortex-A78 main core clocked at up to 3.1GHz, 3 Arm Cortex-A78 performance cores clocked at 3.0GHz and 4 Arm Cortex efficiency cores -A55 at 2.0GHz and Mali-G610 MC6, same as Dimensity 8200.

Reno12 Pro uses MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed ​​Edition. These two chips will feature the MediaTek Star Speed ​​​​Engine technology that has been fully upgraded to unleash the potential of end-to-end gaming.

OPPO Reno12 series adopts diamond architecture. The middle frame is from OPPO's own research and development. It is the strongest die-cast aluminum alloy in the industry and its compressive strength is much higher than the industry standard, the company says. The series supports IP65 dustproof and waterproof, and also supports contact with rain.

The phones have a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus. These packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
