The motorola edge 50 series will be announced on April 16

Motorola launched the Edge 50 Pro in India last week. Now, the company has confirmed the launch of all its Edge 50 series smartphones for the global markets on April 16.

The invite just says “We see beauty in every detail” along with the date of April 16th.

Press renders of the edge 50 Ultra have already appeared, revealing the phone in Peach Fuzz and Black with a vegan leather finish, and a Beige color called Sisal in a brushed finish. The phone is said to be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, compared to Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro model.

The motorola edge 50 Ultra will feature a 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. There's also a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens and a triple LED flash on the right side.

We can also expect the fusion edge 50 alongside. This one is expected to come in Ballad Blue, Peacock Pink and Tidal Teal colors.

The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch curved pOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with 8GB of RAM, Android 14, 50MP rear camera along with an ultra-wide secondary camera, 32MP front camera MP, IP68 rating. , 256GB of storage and a 5000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.
