HUAWEI plans a global “Innovative Product Launch” event on May 7

HUAWEI will host an innovative product launch in Dubai next week with the tagline “Get ready to witness the dawn of an exciting new era in innovation.”

The announcement, made on X (formerly Twitter), hints at the introduction of HUAWEI Wearables, MateBook laptops and MatePad series tablets.

HUAWEI Wearables: Watch Fit 3 and FreeBuds

Expectations are pointing towards the debut of the Watch Fit 3, indicated by a teaser image showing a red rotary button.

Along with this, an updated version of FreeBuds may appear. Despite the recent release of FreeBuds Lipstick 2 in China, the teaser suggests otherwise.

HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2024

The event may introduce the MateBook X Pro 2024, previously released in China, known for its ultra-thin and light design. With a weight of 980 grams, it has an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor.

We can also expect the latest HUAWEI MateBook D laptops.

HUAWEI MatePad

The poster also reveals a number of new MatePad tablets expected to be announced, in line with recent reports of new MatePad tablets passing 3C certification with 22.5W charging.

No smartphones?

Surprisingly, smartphones are absent from the teaser, despite the recent launch of the HUAWEI Pura 70 series in China. It's unclear whether these phones will be internationalized or remain China-exclusive like the Mate 60 devices.
