vivo Y200i with 6.72″ FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, up to 12GB RAM, 6000mAh battery announced

vivo has unveiled Y200i, the company's upcoming 5G smartphone in the Y series in China, as the successor to the Y100i. The phone packs a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, an 8MP camera inside the notch. It runs on Android 14 with Origin OS 4.

It is powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM with 12GB of extended RAM. The phone has a 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor.

It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 6000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support that can charge up to 50% in 36 minutes.

Prices and availability

The vivo Y200i comes in Blue, Glacier White and Midnight Black colors and is priced at 1599 Yuan (US$ 225 / Rs. 18,800 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB model, 1799 Yuan (US$ 253 / Rs. 21,155 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 256GB model and the 12GB + 512GB model are priced at 1999 Yuan (USD 281 / Rs. 23,505 approx.).

The phone will be available to order today and will go on sale in China starting April 27.
