OPPO imagine IF Photography Awards 2024 has been launched in India

OPPO India has announced the IF Photography Awards, a creative initiative aimed at inspiring mobile photography enthusiasts in India. Renowned director and screenwriter SS Rajamouli is the Indian ambassador for this project.

IF Photography India Awards

The imagine IF Photography Awards were presented globally in 2023 by OPPO. The first edition received more than 700,000 entries from 51 countries. Now in its second year globally, it marks its debut in India.

Competition details

The contest invites all Indian citizens aged 18 and above to participate in nine categories: Landscape, Portrait, Colors, Imperfect Moment, Fashion, Snapshots, Light, Travel and Collection.

A panel of experienced photographers including Joseph Radhik, Arzoo Khurana and Arjun Mark among others will judge the entries.

Presentation process

Participants can submit their smartphone photographs for Round 1 till June 15, 2024 (midnight IST).

From these submissions, 50 winners will advance to Round 2, which begins in early July. The six final winners will be announced on July 25, 2024.

Awards

The Gold winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 5,00,000, while two silver winners will receive Rs. 2,00,000 each, and three bronze winners will receive Rs. 1,00,000 each.

The five winners will get a chance to attend the Paris Motor Show, receive the latest OPPO smartphone and collaborate with OPPO India on photography projects.

Announcement of the event

The awards were revealed during the OPPO Ambassador Conclave in Mumbai, coinciding with the unveiling of the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, which features the world's first quad primary camera with HyperTone Image Engine.

The event hosted panel discussions led by industry leaders, influencers and OPPO ambassadors such as Rajeev Masand, Anubhav Sinha, Sudeep Chatterjee, Monaz Todywalla and Raj Kamble.

Topics covered included the evolution of smartphone photography, advances in artificial intelligence and the emergence of content creators.
