OPPO A3 Pro with 6.7″ FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED display, up to 12GB RAM, IP69 rating announced

Following the developments, OPPO unveiled the OPPO A3 Pro, the company's next A-series phone in China, as the successor to last year's A2 Pro. Featuring a 6.7-inch 120Hz FHD+ curved OLED display, it is powered by the Dimensity 7050 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, similar to its predecessor.

The phone is IP69, IP68 and IP66 rated for dust and water resistance, a first in the segment, making it resistant to hot water, water immersion and water spray.

The phone has a 360° anti-drop body and uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for the display that is only seen on flagships, the company says.

The anti-drop performance is 180% higher than the screen protection glass of the products in the same range; the back cover uses the first OPPO Crystal Shield Glass, the anti-fall ability is 160% higher than the protective glass of mobile phones of the same grade, the company adds.

The phone has a 64MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor and packs a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging that can charge up to 56% in 20 minutes and 100% in 42 minutes.

The OPPO A3 Pro comes in Azure (Glass), Mountain Blue (Leather) and Yunjin Pink (Leather) colors and is priced at 1,999 Yuan (US$ 276 / Rs. 23,490 approx.) 8GB + 256GB, 2199 Yuan (US$ 303 / Rs.23,490 approx.) . 25,820 approx.) for 12GB + 256GB and the high-end 12GB + 512GB model costs 2499 yuan (USD 345 / Rs. 29,345 approx.).

It is now available to order and will go on sale in China from April 19.
