iQOO Z9 Turbo and iQOO Z9 with 6.78″ 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3/7 Gen 3, 6000mAh battery announced

iQOO has introduced the Z9 and Z9 Turbo smartphones in the Z9 series in China as promised. The phones feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K TCL C8 display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 4500 nits local peak brightness.

The iQOO Z9 Turbo is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and the Z9 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. These have a 6043mm² VC liquid cooling design.

The phones feature a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS on the Z9 Turbo which also has an 8MP ultra-wide camera, which is replaced by a 2MP depth sensor on the Z9.

The phones are IP64 rated for dust and splash resistance and pack a 6000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
