Samsung is working on a new smartwatch called “Galaxy Watch Ultra”. Android headlineswhere they have shared about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra previously.

According to the report, instead of the Watch 7 Pro, Samsung could reveal three new watches: Watch 7, Watch 7 Classic and Watch Ultra.

Galaxy Watch Ultra

Reports suggest that the Watch Ultra will feature a larger 578mAh battery, model number EB-BL705ABY.

While it was initially expected to include the Watch 7, Watch 7 Classic and Watch Ultra, Samsung could skip the Classic model, as it did with the Watch5 series.

The Watch Ultra will have three different model numbers: SM-L705U, SM-L705N, and SM-L705F, representing the US, Korean, and Global markets, respectively.

Galaxy Watch FE

In addition to the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Samsung is also developing an “FE” version: The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, similar to Apple's approach with the Apple Watch SE, will be a budget alternative to the Watch Ultra.

It will be available with specific models (SM-R866F, SM-R866U and SM-R866N) for the US, Korea and other markets. The Watch FE is expected to share features with the Galaxy Watch4 (2021), according to the report.

The Watch Ultra could feature advanced sensors for more accurate workout tracking, including improved swim data accuracy due to increased water pressure durability and better GPS tracking.

Battery life is expected to improve significantly, with reports suggesting the use of a larger battery than previous models.

Although the exact technical specifications of both watches are not currently available, significant differences are expected between the Watch Ultra and the Watch FE.

The Watch Ultra could be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, Galaxy Ring, at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event rumored for July 10 in Paris.
