Samsung is reportedly developing a new smartwatch called the “Galaxy Watch7 Ultra.” This aligns with previous reports indicating Samsung's continuation of the Classic series with this new model, with a unique design.

According to reports from Smartprice e OnLeaks, Samsung will introduce new hardware, including the Galaxy Watch7 series. For the first time, this series will include an Ultra variant, the Galaxy Watch7 Ultra, the renders of which have been leaked.

The Galaxy Watch7 Ultra will have an eccentric square outer frame with a circular screen inside, starting from the traditional circular dial. However, it will retain the rotating bezel seen on previous classic variants, as shown in the renderings.

The watch will have a circular display, simplifying UI optimization, but its slightly rounded square design offers a unique look, reminiscent of the default One UI icons.

With a 1.5-inch diameter screen, the Watch7 Ultra maintains consistency with its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. However, its overall dimensions are larger than 47 x 47.4 x 16.4 mm. The rotating disc now features lines instead of numbers to indicate the hours.

The Ultra model includes a third circular button, possibly offering unique functions. The back of the watch features a circular array of sensors, unlike the Galaxy Watch6 Classic.

The strap appears wider and the body features small holes, which are speculated to be microphones, along with a larger speaker grill. It will be available in black and white colors as seen in the renders.

Release date?

The Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for July 10 in Paris, will present the Galaxy Z Fold6, the Z Flip6 and the Galaxy Ring. The Galaxy Watch7 Ultra is also expected to debut alongside these devices.
