Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has finally unveiled its first line of smartphones under the original HMD line – HMD Pulse Pro, HMD Pulse+ and HMD Pulse after teasers and leaks.

HMD Pulse Collection

The HMD Pulse collection features HMD's original line with clean lines, calm tones, modern aesthetics, stylish repairability and bold design, all at an affordable price.

According to HMD, every phone in the HMD Pulse range is designed for easy repair, called “first generation repairability”. You can replace damaged parts without professional help, thanks to self-repair kits available in partnership with iFixit.

HMD Pulse Pro

The Pulse Pro variant features sleek designs, contemporary looks, along with a 6.65″ HD+ 90Hz display with a brightness of up to 600 nits.

It runs on Unisoc T606 with 6GB of RAM (expandable to 8GB via virtual RAM) and 128GB of storage, expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

For photography, it has a 50MP main camera with skin tone optimization + 2MP depth sensor and LED flash on the back, and a 50MP selfie camera that supports selfie gestures and slow-motion selfies.

It houses a 5000mAh QuickFix replaceable battery with 20W fast charging, which offers up to 59 hours on a single charge and promises 800 full charge cycles according to HMD.

HMD Pulse+ and Pulse

Both models have the same 6.65″ HD+ 90Hz display, 600 nits brightness and weigh 187g. Similar to the Pro version, both the Pulse+ and the Pulse run on Unisoc T606.

In terms of storage, the Pulse offers 64GB of internal storage while the Pulse+ offers 128GB. Both support external storage up to 256GB via MicroSD card, along with 4GB of RAM (supports virtual RAM).

In terms of optics, Pulse features a 13 MP main camera + 2 MP depth sensor and LED flash, with an 8 MP front camera. Pulse+ upgrades 50MP main camera + 2MP depth sensor, LED flash and 50MP front camera. Both devices support skin tone optimization.

Both devices have a 5000mAh QuickFix replaceable battery like the Pulse Pro but with 10W charging.

They run on Android 14 with 2 OS updates and receive quarterly security updates for three years. In addition, they are IP52 rated for dust and water resistance.

Prices and availability

The HMD Pulse and Pulse+ are available on HMD.com starting today, while the Pro model will be available soon. The price is as follows:
