All steps to withdraw cash

First, the mother of the child, for whom a withdrawal is required, should go to the ATM of the designated bank (like HBL Bank) with her CNIC card. Next, visit a bank enrolled in the BISP program and where the ATM offers a thumb biometric option.

  • You will see a screen that looks like the picture. It has two options: “Insert your card” which means insert your ATM or Benazir card and “Scan your thumb” which means place your thumb. Hold down your thumb to show the second option.
  • When the screen prompts you to “Select Language”, you must select Urdu after placing your thumb. You can also choose English if you understand it or if you are with someone who does.
  • After language selection, a “Main Menu” screen will appear with the option labeled “BISP” at the top left. The other buttons have nothing to do with your task, so press that one and nothing else.
  • A column will appear on the screen for you to enter your CNIC number. Remember one thing: if the child has a CNIC card, dial that number; otherwise, dial the CNIC number of the daughter's mother, as she is an active BISP beneficiary.
  • We call this ATM screen biometric feature the thumb reposition option, which appears as soon as you enter your CNIC card number. Scan your thumb here to start the cashout process. Remember that the ATM uses biometric technology. When a red light illuminates, you can place your thumb there.
  • These are the four options that appear when you scan your biometric; the first one, “Cash Withdrawal”, is the one you should choose because you are here to withdraw money. It is important to understand that this option will only be available at the ATM if the biometric verification has been completed at BISP. Go to the 8171 web portal for balance inquiries to find out how much your quota is.
  • Choose the third option, “Balance Check,” if you're not sure how much money is in your account or if there are unpaid bills. When you check your current amount, you will notice the same withdraw cash button. To continue to the next step, click that button.
  • You can withdraw any amount but at least 500 rupees. Enter the final amount of money you wish to withdraw. Just as you wish to collect your entire amount and enter it in Rs. column
