Sony is gearing up to unveil new smartphones later this month. Previous details of the Xperia 1 VI flagship phone have already surfaced and now, tipster Evan Blass has revealed press images of the mid-priced Xperia 10 VI device on X (formerly Twitter).

The Xperia 10 VI will be available in three colors: white, black and light blue. Sony has made a notable change to the back of the phone by removing a camera. Now, there are only two cameras along with an LED flash between them.

The telephoto camera has been removed, leaving only the main and ultra-wide cameras. The main camera is expected to be improved, possibly with a resolution of 48 MP with a 2x zoom option.

The front of the phone features Sony's tall display, which may be slightly wider than before. The thick strips at the bottom and top of the screen remain due to the forward-facing speakers, as the images indicate.

The volume buttons are located on the right side, along with a power button that integrates a fingerprint reader. Additionally, there is a headphone jack on the top edge.

The leaked images suggest that Sony is still offering full water resistance, possibly with IP65 and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance similar to its predecessor. The Xperia 10 VI can also have several protective cases available to carry the phone.

While the exact specifications of the Xperia 10 VI are not revealed in the leak, earlier rumors suggest that it might be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and backed by a 5000mAh battery, with a lightweight design.
