After the rumours, the first set of renders for the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 VI has surfaced, thanks to @Onleaks. This shows a familiar design with the front camera on the top bezel and a large bottom bezel for the speakers.

The renders also reveal a wider, more traditional 19.5:9 aspect ratio, compared to the older models' 21:9 aspect ratio. It's also said to pack a 2K+ or Quad HD+ panel (about 3200 x 1440 pixels) instead of a 4K panel in previous models.

It is said to measure 161.9 x 74.5 x 8.4mm, making it wider and shorter than older models due to the design change, and is said to be 0.1mm thicker compared to the 1V .

Reports suggest that the Xperia 1 VI will feature a triple camera setup on the back, with the three rear camera sensors rumored to be 48MP Exmor T sensors, including a 48MP 1/2 periscope telephoto sensor, 7″ capable of 3x optical zoom or higher. to 6x zoom via sensor cropping.

As for the release date, the phone is expected to see a global launch in May, which is next month. We can expect more details about the phone in the coming weeks.
