Sonos has just introduced its first headphones, the Sonos Ace. These headphones are designed for comfort with lightweight materials and soft memory foam covered in vegan leather.

Easy to use and store, the Sonos Ace headphones feature intuitive controls and a foldable design for added convenience, while being durable and sustainable with replaceable cushions and materials that reduce plastic use by 17%. In addition, the travel case is made from 75% recycled plastic bottles.

The headphones are also energy efficient, with wear detection that pauses music when you take them off to save battery. On the audio front, the Sonos Ace features custom 40mm dynamic audio drivers in each earcup, along with eight microphones for active noise cancellation and an Aware mode for ambient sound.

It supports Bluetooth 5.4 and aptX codec for high-quality wireless playback, with a 3.5mm to USB-C cable for lossless wired audio. For immersive audio experiences, Sonos Ace supports Dolby Atmos spatial audio and Sony 360 Reality via various streaming services.

In particular, it offers Dolby Head Tracking for dynamic surround sound and seamless audio switching between the Ace soundbar and Sonos Arc. Sonos Ace promises up to 30 hours of battery life, with a quick charge that delivers 3 hours of playback in just 3 minutes.

Later this year, Sonos plans to introduce TrueCinema technology for an even more immersive surround sound experience.
