Google plans to unveil its newest addition to the Pixel 8 series, the Pixel 8a smartphone, later this month. Pre-launch leaks have revealed key details about the Pixel 8a, including its Tensor G3 chip, 120Hz display, seven years of updates and pricing information.

Recently, @evleaks aka Evan Blass shared full product screenshots, shedding more light on the Pixel 8a. The images confirm the use of Gorilla Glass 3 for screen protection, similar to the Pixel 7a.

Google claims the Pixel 8a is its most durable version of the A series yet and confirms IP67 water resistance, just like the 7a.

The screenshots highlight the Pixel 8a's fun colors and matte finish. This lines up with leaked images showing a matte finish on the black model and suggests the same for the blue and green variants.

While the color of the white model remains uncertain, the renders suggest a consistent matte finish across all colors, following the pattern of the Pixel 8 Pro.

The screenshots indicate that the Pixel 8a could incorporate recycled materials into its construction, potentially in the back or frame, similar to the Pixel 7a's use of recycled aluminum.

Plus, there's a promotion offering six months of Fitbit Premium with the Pixel 8a. Other features include wireless charging, up to 24 hours of battery life, and support for 30W charging, although the 30W USB-C charger isn't included with the phone.

Additionally, the screenshots reveal new camera modes (Best Take, Audio Magic Eraser, Night Sight, and Magic Eraser) taken from Pixel devices.

In addition, the Pixel 8a will be compatible with Google One VPN and will include three months of YouTube Premium and the Google One 100 GB plan.
