Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai on Thursday announced significant organizational changes around the company's focus on building artificial intelligence (AI) models.

He expressed optimism about the potential of the restructured teams and confirmed the continued collaboration between Google DeepMind and Google Research.

Responsibility and Security

Pichai emphasized Google's commitment to the responsible development of AI, mentioning its involvement in establishing measures for the safe and responsible use of AI.

To improve the accuracy, reliability and transparency of AI products, the AI ‚Äč‚Äčteams responsible for research will move to Google DeepMind.
